Something you might not know about Stephanie

Despite being ‘down south’ for over 25 years, I can still speak proper Yorkshire when back in the Motherland.

Roma – where she got engaged!

Three songs you’ll find on Stephanie’s Spotify playlist
  • True Faith – New Order
  • Hell to the Liars – London Grammar
  • Live to Tell – Madonna
What got Stephanie started

A desire to make sure people are treated fairly. I’ve always been fascinated by how people view the same situation differently. Professionally, I like the challenge of finding outcomes which are fair, reasonable and commercially focussed.

Stephanie is excellent at
  • Building collaborative relationships with business owners to help them get the best out of their people and therefore their business.
  • Articulating people focussed advice and associated risk so that every business owner, or manager, can make informed decisions appropriate to their business.
  • Making people management easy, well easier!
About Stephanie

She’s a people professional with over 25 years’ experience working with a wide cross-section of businesses.

Stephanie says ‘Businesses may be different, but the people issues faced by businesses tend to be similar, whether within a multinational or start up.

Often SME’s are brilliant at knowing about their business or product area, but need support and guidance about the people within it. I enjoy building relationships with people, becoming a trusted advisor who can be turned to at any stage of the employee lifecycle.

I like to understand clients’ needs and business drivers so I can provide pragmatic, commercially focussed, calm advice across a range of people initiatives and issues.

I started my career in the finance industry, specifically within Private Banking. However, after taking a short career break when the kids were born, I decided I wanted a career which was more flexible. So, I set up my own HR Consultancy and built a network of clients, before finally being lured back into the world of permanent employment.’

She’s inspired by

Stephanie is currently finding inspiration in Kevin Sinfield. She’s generally inspired by people who overcome adversity, who want to solve climate issues or achieve sporting greatness.

  • Making people management easy… or at the very least, easier!
