Jake’s career began in radio PR, but his ambitions were always shaped by something bigger. Passionate about nature, the ocean and the outdoors, he wanted to build and support businesses that aligned with his personal values and ethics. That belief has guided his career ever since, leading him from agency client services into entrepreneurship, where he has spent years helping brands grow while championing causes related to sustainability, climate action and responsible business.

Jake is a marketing entrepreneur, business leader and advocate for responsible advertising with more than two decades of experience helping organisations grow through strategic communications and marketing. After starting his career in agency client services, he co-founded Media Bounty in 2008, building the agency into a respected integrated creative and media business known for combining commercial success with purpose-driven values. Over the years, he has advised organisations including Colgate-Palmolive, Essity, Panasonic, Openreach, Sipsmith, Dr Organic and Jamie Oliver Group, helping brands develop long-term strategies that deliver both growth and impact.
Alongside his agency work, Jake has become a leading voice in ethical advertising, climate communications and information integrity. He co-founded the Conscious Advertising Network in 2017 and ACT Climate Labs in 2021, both of which work to harness the power of advertising to drive positive change. His wider roles have included serving on the board of the Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit, advising the Global Initiative for Information Integrity on Climate Change, and joining the board of Factotum in 2026. Through all his work, Jake remains focused on helping organisations think long term, challenge assumptions and create meaningful, lasting impact.
Jake draws inspiration from a wide range of people, including his wife, business leaders, campaigners and innovators who challenge conventional thinking and work to create positive change.
