Our client is a successful and growing business looking to recruit a commercially minded qualified finance professional to join its team in North London. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant looking to move into a commercially focused FP&A and financial analysis role, supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
Position Overview
Working closely with the Head of Finance and operational stakeholders, the successful candidate will play a key role in analysing financial and operational performance, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and providing insight to drive improved business performance. The role offers a broad mix of management accounting, FP&A, commercial analysis, and business partnering.
Core Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and reforecasts in line with Group reporting requirements
- Analyse business performance and identify key drivers impacting financial and operational results
- Partner with business leaders and operational teams to drive performance improvements and cost efficiencies
- Produce and monitor financial and non-financial KPI reporting for key stakeholders
- Support the month-end and period-end close process, including variance analysis and management reporting
- Provide insightful analysis to senior management and the Board on financial and operational performance
- Utilise existing systems and reporting tools to enhance data analytics and management information
- Develop and improve performance reporting frameworks to support informed decision-making
- Build strong relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholders across the business
