They are seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join on a permanent basis, with an immediate start available. Position Overview


The Accounts Payable Assistant will be responsible for managing a high volume of transactions, ensuring accuracy across supplier invoicing and reconciliations. This role is ideal for someone with solid accounts payable experience who is eager to further their career within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Enter and code financial transactions accurately onto the accounting system

  • Process supplier invoices and expense forms

  • Reconcile supplier statements to the ledger

  • Support with preparation of payment runs

  • Match customer payments to invoices on the sales ledger

  • Validate invoices against purchase orders and resolve related queries

Capabilities Required

  • Minimum of two to three years’ experience in an accounts payable role

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure

  • Proactive attitude and ability to meet tight deadlines

Desirable Skills

  • Proficiency in SAP (essential)

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Experience within a logistics or similar fast-paced environment
